Stemming out of the desire of capturing memories better, Nick Woodman came up with the idea of GoPro back in 2002, when he wanted to film himself and his friends surfing. Specializing in portable cameras and ahead of its time software and digital support, GoPro has been crafting technology to aid photographers and videographers in producing brilliant visuals for the longest time. The newest release from the brand is the GoPro HERO9 Black, packed with features we didn’t know we needed - until now.
First and foremost is the new Sensor that delivers 5K video, along with 20 MP photos, promising sharper, clearer and larger than life output. The device comes equipped with a front colour 1.4” display screen, that allows live previews in multiple modes, along with a 2.27” rear display screen, enabled with Touch Zoom. Along with 30% improved battery performance and multiple lens compatibility, the device is also waterproof and made to function effortlessly in cold weather.
Coming with a 1080p webcam, one can also enjoy superior quality live streams through the HERO9 Black. The multiple lens and camera features like HyperSmooth 3.0 Horizon Camera Levelling and Power Tools allow time controlled capture modes, the device also comes with voice control features, in 14 languages and 6 accents.
Keeping the ecological consciousness factored in, the brand has eliminated the use of any kind of disposable packaging, with the use of a highly functional travel case.
The GoPro Hero9 Black launched on September 16th globally, at a retail price of $449.99 (Rs. 33,125 approx.) and is set to hit the Indian market by the end of October 2020. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
