The Nike Adapt Auto Max is Back With An All-New “Life Lime” Makeover
After a relatively limited release of Nike’s Adapt Auto Max since its debut on Air Max Day in March, the silhouette is making a comeback this fall in a brand new, never-before-seen, dynamic colourway — “Life Lime.”
Adopting a more modern approach, the “Life Lime” uses its minimal yet bold colour palette to further its futuristic ethos with neon-hued accents.

The heel clip flashes a pop of colour with a neon hot pink that breaks the monotony of the sleek black synthetics and all black Swooshes on the fore-foot and mid-foot.
The tongue features a neon green trim on the underside and is held in place by four power-lacing strip mechanisms. Exaggerated heel pieces feature smaller neon green Swoosh's and extend outwards before connecting to the midsole.

Crafted with Nike FitAdapt technology and a stretchy lightweight, breathable mesh upper, the mid-top sneaker offers Air Max cushioning and a TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) plate wraps up from the midsole and connects to the heel for added stability.
The extra-solid midsole is made of EVA foam in a wool grey with abstract black scribbles. The mid-foot holds the Adapt Auto Max’s electric-powered motor system, which is responsible for tightening and loosing the lacing strips and can be charged using a charging pad that is included with the sneakers.

The design of the powerful shoe is complete with a mesh upper, padded foam collar, heel pull tab with reflective design trim, TPU toe tip, memory-foam tongue and a visible Air Max 1 style cushioning.

The personalised fit of the shoe can be adjusted via an app on the wearer's iPhone or Android device. The app also holds features like controlling the colour shining through buttons once the motor is fully charged. Additionally, the buttons themselves can also be pressed to adjust the fit. The entire ensemble is protected with a black high-rise rubber outsole.
The Nike Adapt Auto Max “Life Lime” will release on September 18 via retailers like END with a price tag of $400 (Rs. 29,390 approx.)
