Reebok and Brain Dead Recreate The "Classic Leather"
Reebok and LA-based collective Braindead have come together to rework the iconic "Classic Leather" silhouette in this new collaboration.
However, this isn’t the first time the two brands have joined forces and have previously worked on a project with Japanese label Beams in 2018 in a three-way joint venture to revamp a classic Reebok tracksuit and the "Classic Leather" sneakers.

The new rendition is nowhere close to the original silhouette that the audience has seen before. The leather upper has been replaced by a dark brown mesh and adding to the construction of the sneakers are orange side stripes and worn-out suede overlays.
The Reebok branding on the side has been replaced with the Brain Dead logo alongside the the signature British flag. The stand out feature are the fuzzy suede laces that replicate a look similar to the rope laces on the Travis Scott SB Dunks.

The Classic Leather, a silhouette which first debuted in 1983, is one of the most iconic Reebok silhouettes of all time and we're stoked to see something different.
