Nike Reveals League Of Legends World Championship Merchandise

One of the most played games in the world, League of Legends is a multiplayer online game, made by Riot Games, a subsidiary of China’s Tencent Holdings Ltd.

Nike’s collaboration with League Of Legends comprises of some exciting sneaker silhouettes and jerseys, designed specially for the players in the championship.

The most iconic part of the collection is the reiteration of the Air Jordan Zoom 1 Max, inspired by the World Championship Trophy. Made in a white leather base, the shoe consists of iridescent purple panel overlays along with blue and black intricate details on the upper and outsole. It comes complete with a graphic representation of the Summoner's Rift map on its right tongue.

Along with the headlining shoe, the collection comprises of 7 more sneakers: The Air Max 90, Blazer Mid 77, Air Force 1 Low, Air Force 1 Hi, Air Max 270 React, Air Max 2X, and Joyride Dual Run 2.

Nike has also designed jerseys for the four teams that are going to be a part of the championship. Made in DRI-fit fabric, the jerseys comprise of team specific graphics and a fit that enables easy movement during the game.

Along with the Conquest Bomber Jacket, there’s going to be a line of hoodies and tees with a digitized form of the Swoosh, and other gaming related motifs add the finishing touches to the collection.

With no specific details surrounding the pricing or the release date yet, the collection is expected to release once the Championship commences in Shanghai from September 25th. Stay tuned to this space for all further details.
