Clarks Originals Continues Its Collaboration Spree with Palm Angels
Celebrating the 70th anniversary of their iconic Desert Boots, Clarks has partnered up with Palm Angels for a brand new collaboration.
London based footwear brand, Clarks, has been the shoemaking business for a very long time and it has produced some iconic silhouettes in its time - one such silhouette is the Clarks Desert Boot.
First released in the 1950’s, the silhouette has proved to be one of the simplest yet iconic designs by the brand.
With this year marking the 70th anniversary of the silhouette, Clarks has been on a collaboration spree, partnering up with multiple other global brands, to celebrate the occasion.
A short time after releasing their collaborative collection with the Japanese streetwear brand BAPE, the footwear brand is all set to release another collection - this time with the Milan based fashion brand, Palm Angels.
The capsule collection sees two renditions of the Desert Boot silhouette featuring similar smooth suede uppers and rubber outsoles, with interesting additions that are very different in terms of the branding.
The two colourways that have been released are 'Sand' and 'Black'.
The 'Black' colourway features a Palm Angels branding in gothic font on the upper of the shoe while the 'Sand' showcases only initials with a branded 'P' and 'A' on either shoe.
Both colourways have a golden embossed Clarks branding on the footbed and also feature branded suede hang tags.
The collection is available online and can be purchased on the HBX web store, at a retail price of $390 (Rs. 30,000 approx.).
