Nike Unveils An Exciting Collaboration Between Jordan Brand And Fragment
The line of T-shirts, raglan fleece sweaters and nylon tracksuits has been inspired by the Vintage Jordan collections. The designs reflect Fujiwara’s interest towards graphical and typographic elements from the sportswear of the 80's. A few pieces also exhibit graphical manipulation of Michael Jordan’s photographs, while in play.
Adding to the collection are some rather futuristic yet understated renditions of some of the most classic Jordan sneaker silhouettes. The fragment design X Air Jordan 3 Retro SP comes as a tribute to the 2004 Orca Pack.
Displaying a black and white colourway, the shoe comprises of a bold Fragment logo, shown through a translucent Jumpman heel tab. The simple representation symbolises Fujiwara’s fondness towards the Jumpman logo. The shoe will retail at a price of Rs. 17,595.
Predicting the future of the brand new fragment design X Air Jordan XXXV, Fujiwara says that the shoe might become a holy grail in the coming years. Designed with a futuristic approach merged with a hint of nostalgia, the sneaker features a rather athletic colourway in black, white and blue.
Last but not the least, the Jordan Cadence comes in a neutral grey colourway, with the classic Jordan III’s heel Air unit. The shoe has been devised for casual use, but with a classic design twist and is priced at Rs. 11,495.
With the apparel priced between $55 (Rs. 4,034 approximately) to $150 (Rs. 11,003 approximately), the collection is set to drop on September 17th, except for the Air Jordan XXXV Fragment, which is set to release on the October 28th. The sneakers would be available on the Nike SNKRS App, and the apparel can be shopped on the official Nike website.
