DOUBLET And Beta Post Join Hands To Create A 'CARTON BOX BAG'
For those unfamiliar with the names, DOUBLET and Beta Post are distinctive streetwear brands from Japan. Born from the visual representation of worn-off, cardboard packaging, the “Carton Box Bag” is one of the newest design marvels and has been created as part of a collaboration between the two labels.

What looks like real cardboard material is actually textured leather that forms the main body of the bag.
The bag also features details such as a shipping bill along with accurate labels and signage like barcodes, that are usually seen on shipping cartons, making them look like real cardboard, packaged boxes.

It also comes with a light blue fabric strap that adds a pop of colour to the overall tan/brown colour palette while ensuring a good grip.

Additionally, Beta Post’s Autumn/Winter 2020 collection also exhibits a similar multivariate use of the cardboard-like, crinkled leather.
The collection consists of multiple ready-to-wear pieces that give off the sheen of leather while showcasing the rundown, raw look and feel of a cardboard.

Few pieces also give off an industrial vibe, due to the use of the cardboard texture along with a silver, duct-tape like fabric that additionally symbolises the use of metal.

The bags come in a limited variety of sizes and silhouettes and can be purchased exclusively on SSENSE, Antonioli and Dover Street Market's official website for $1275 (Rs. 94,860 approx.)
