Barton Perreira Eyewear Gets A Fear Of God Makeover

Barton Perreira Eyewear Gets A Fear Of God Makeover

If you dig FOG’s selection of natural earthy hues and Barton Perreira’s craftsmanship, this collaboration is definitely for you.

The two brands joined hands to represent the shared Los Angeles spirit and their core brand ideals in a new eyewear collaboration. Fear of God founder, Jerry Lorenzo cites his personal pair of Barton Perreira frames, that he's been wearing since the inception of the brand seven years ago, as the primary inspiration. The timeless Barton Perreira classic got reworked as the FGBP.2020 collection in five different natural earth tone colourways in Matte Ecru, Matte Linen, Matte Champagne, Matte Khaki, and Black.

With Fear Of God's design aesthetics and Barton Perreira’s craftsmanship, the product comes to life in a classic rectangular, acetate shape as a model optical frame that also feels like the perfect vintage pair of sunglasses.

Each frame has been carefully handmade in Japan, coupled with light gradient wash lenses that come in special Fear Of God x Barton Perreira packaging, priced at $510 (Rs. 38,500 approx.) a piece.

The collaboration aired on June 19 on both Barton Perreira and Fear of God’s official websites and was sold out within a week of release.
