Daniel Arsham Collaborates With Pangaia To Release Line Of Sustainable T-Shirts
The American artist joins hands with the sustainable clothing company to create a capsule collection of eco-friendly T-shirts for a good cause.
Daniel Arsham is a multi-disciplinary, contemporary visual artist whose work consists of an amalgamation of art, architecture and installations.
He is the co-founder of “Snarkitecture”, a New-York based collaborative practice that reuses and redesigns existing spaces to make architecture perform the unexpected.
Arsham recently released his latest collaboration with sustainable clothing collective “Pangaia” in a run of eco-friendly T-shirts for a cause. The brand uses bio-based, recycled fibres and materials made from recycled plastic bottles for their products.
The T-shirts are made with lightweight saltwater seaweed and organic cotton and natural anti-bacterial peppermint for longer lasting freshness.
The design on the T-shirt features a cast football painted with Color Chiaroscuro exclusively for the Sports Museum 3-2-1, attached to Khalifa stadium which was planned to have opened next spring in Doha, Qatar.
All online sales of the shirts celebrate the opening of the Education City Stadium with 100% of all proceeds going towards funding to support art in hospitals and the frontline workers fighting against the Pandemic in these trying times.
